Janet Irene (Koenders) Fischaber
April 10, 1940 – September 21, 1994
MARSHALL - Janet I. (Koenders) Fischhaber, 54, of Marshall, died Wednesday, 
September 21, 1994, at home after a long illness.  Born April 10, 1940, in 
Midland to Earl and Irene (Boots) Koenders, she moved to Battle Creek in 1967 
and to Marshall in 1974.  Mrs. Fischhaber was employed for 22 years as an 
equipment specialist with the U.S. Air Force at the Battle Creek Federal Center 
before retiring earlier this month because of ill health.  She had served as the 
4-H craft superintendent at the Calhoun County Fair for 20 years.  She enjoyed 
quilting, needle work and cross stitch.  

She married Lee A. Fischhaber on August 6, 1960, in Kawkawlin.  He survives.  
Also surviving are daughters, Janice Hancher of Milwaukee and LeeAnn Fischhaber 
of Marshall; two grandchildren; and her mother, Irene Koenders. 

Visitation: After 7 p.m. today at the Craig K. Kempf Funeral Home, Marshall, 
where the family will be present from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday.  
Services: 1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials: Calhoun County 4-H 
Extension Office or Good Samaritan Hospice Care.   Published Battle Creek
