Fisher, 80 of Roseville died Tuesday April 12, 1994 at Mount Clemens General Hospital after a short illness. He was born November 23, 1913 in Minden City, son of the late Walter and Susan (Gwisdalla) Fisher. He married Edna Glaza on November 27, 1948 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church of Parisville. Mr. Fisher attended the West Minden School, farmed in the Minden City area and worked on a peppermint farms in Palms. He moved to Roseville in 1954 and was employed as a carpenter, retiring in 1976. Mr. Fisher was a parishioner of St. Margaret’s Catholic Church of St. Clair Shores and was a member of the Knights of Columbus Bishop Murphy Council of Warren. Surviving are his wife Edna, a daughter Mrs. Edward (Mary) Bacon or Roseville; two grandchildren, two step grandchildren and a brother Arthur and his wife Fran of Bay City. He was preceded in death by six brothers; Boniface, Mike, Ira, Russell, Dave and Elmer and four sisters: Emma Ertman, Clara Peters, Gertrude Wrubel and Anna Pionk. Funeral services will be 9:30am Saturday at St. Mary Catholic Church in Parisville. The Rev. Ronald Dombrowski, pastor will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friend may call at the Zinger Smigielski Funeral Home in Ubly 5:30-9:30 Thursday; noon -9:30 pm Friday and 8-8:45 Saturday. There will be a scripture service 7:30 Friday at the funeral home.
