Fisher November 5, 1936 – September 6, 2006 Harold W. Fisher, 69, of Colfax Township, passed away Wednesday, September 6, 2006 at Huron Medical Center in Bad Axe. He was born November 5, 1936 in Detroit, to the late Cecilia Schad and Wilbert Fisher. He was united in marriage June 22, 1957 to his wife, Joann, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Bad Axe. He retired from Lee Wood of Essexville after 22 years, and worked part-time at the BP Station in Bad Axe as a maintenance man.b He enjoyed driving his 1968 Ford and fixing cars with his son. bHarold loved his family, gardening and working at BP. He is survived by his wife, Joann Fisher of Bad Axe; step-father, Charles Schad of Bad Axe; daughter, Kathleen (Robert) Ruth of Bad Axe; son, Daniel (Tracey) Fisher of Elkton; granddaughters, Kristi (Matthew) Klosowski of Bad Axe, Dena Fisher of Rochester Hills, Amber (Michael) Blackstock of Bad Axe; grandson, Joshua Ruth of Mt. Pleasant; sisters, Barbara Harris of Bad Axe, and Shirley (Richard) Scott of Caro, Wilma (Eugene) Bear of Brown City; two great- grandchildren, Haley and Morgan Klosowski; step-grandchildren, Amanda (Jeff) Niemec, Josh and Brandon Czewski; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecilia Schad and Wilbert Fisher; and one sister, Elaine Vanleen. Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 9, 2006 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Bad Axe. Officiating will be Fr. James Carlson, pastor. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. today at the MacAlpine Funeral Home in Bad Axe and from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the church. There will be a scripture at 7:30 p.m. today.
