Alice G. (Oberski) Fisher
March 12, 1895 – May 5, 1977
Alice G. Fisher, 82, Paris Township, died Thursday in Huron Memorial Hospital 
after a long illness.  She was born March 12, 1895, in Paris Township.  She was 
a member of the Ladies Altar Society of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Smith 
Corners.  She married Martin Fisher June 6, 1916, in Parisville. 

Mrs. Fisher is survived by her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Clement Murray, Bad 
Axe, and Mrs. Frank Peplinski Sr., Ubly; a son, Marvin Fisher, Bad Axe; two 
brothers, Daniel O'Berski, Bad Axe, and John O'Berski, Harbor Beach; a sister, 
Mrs. Frances Block, Port Austin; 14 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. 

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday in the Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Smith 
Corners.  The Rev. Stephen Sramek, O.S.B., pastor, will officiate.   Burial will 
be in the Church Cemetery.   Remains are in the Zinger Funeral Home, Ubly, where 
rosary devotions will be 8 p.m. Sunday by the Rev. Sramek and the Ladies Altar 
Society. Visiting hours are after 7 p.m. today.  Published Times Herald (Port
