Robert John Fuester, 81,
prominent retired farmer of Sheridan twp, Huron county, died Sat evening in his 
farm home after a long illness. He was born Nov 23, 1876 in Austin twp, Sanilac 
county. Mr Fuester was a life long resident of the Thumb and has lived the last 
38 years in Sheridan twp. Robert and Isabella Ann Morrison were married Oct 22, 
1902 in Cass city. Mr Fuester was a member of the Ubly Lodge No 284 F & A M and 
served many years as an officer of Appin school. Survivors are his widow; 2 sons 
Lynn and Elmer Fuester, both of Cass City; 2 daughters, Mrs Kathleen Hess, 
Detroit, and Mrs Fay Kula, Bad Axe; 10 grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2 
p.m. Tues in the funeral home. Rev Joseph D Ryan, pastor of the First 
Presbyterian ch, Bad Axe, will officiate.
