Ganhs, 84, of Clyde Township, died Saturday, February 13, 2016 in Port Huron. She was born September 1, 1931 in Harbor Beach to the late Cyril and Sarah Essenmacher. She married Robert Stephen Ganhs on September 2, 1950 in St. Stephen Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on December 2, 2003. Mrs. Ganhs was an Avon Representative for 51 years. She enjoyed polka dancing, cooking, gardening, taking care of her Avon customers and spending time with her family. She was a member of Holy Trinity Parish- St. Stephen Catholic Church. She is survived by two sons, Tim (Ellen) Ganhs and Dan (Anne Marie) Ganhs; four daughters, Deborah (Herb) Lewis, Becky (Tom) Rich, Sarah (Gary) Strieter and Janice Ganhs; grandchildren, Zachary (Julie) Ganhs, Tony and Nathan Ganhs, Laura (Erik) Wallin, Danielle (Jeff) Fair, Katie (Doug) Mohr, Ian and Ariana Strieter and Mikki Rich; great-grandchildren, Christopher and Lilly Rich, Dylann and Raegan Fair, Matthew, Patrick and Samantha Mohr, Claire and Emily Ganhs, and Cayden Wallin; five sisters, Lu Thompson, Eileen Wessel, Regina Watchowski, Coni (Bob) Kaiser and Lilly (Larry) Rader; two brothers, Michael (Judy) Essenmacher and twin brother, Dennis (Erdeen) Essenmacher; sister-in- law, Rita Essenmacher; two brother-in-laws, Charlie Ennett and Art (Marilyn) Wiza and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by many sisters, brothers, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 18, 2016 in Holy Trinity Parish - St. Stephen Catholic Church with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. The Reverend Jeff Allan will officiate. The Rite of Committal will be in Ruby Cemetery, Clyde. Pallbearers will be Zachary, Tony and Nathan Ganhs, Jeff Fair, Doug Mohr, Ian Strieter, Christopher Rich and Erik Wallin. Honorary pallbearers will be Herb Lewis, Tom Rich, Gary Strieter, Jim Schwark and Tom Thompson.
