Robert Gerard Gentner October 23, 1962 - March 27, 1994 Robert Gerard Gentner, 31, of Ruth died Sunday, March 27 1994, at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak after a long illness. He was born October 23, 1962 in Deckerville and is the son of Donald and Mary Aim (Essenmacher) Gentner. He married Deborah Wolschleger on June 26, 1982 at Our Lady of Lake Huron Catholic Church in Harbor Beach. Mr. Gentner attended Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic School in Ruth and was a 1980 graduate of Harbor Beach High School. He was president of the Sts. Peter and Paul School Committee and was a member of the Board of Directors of the Huron County Farm Bureau. Mr. Gentner was an instructor of tractor safety classes in Huron County and a board member of the Harbor Beach Gun Club. He was a parishioner of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. He farmed in the Ruth area for 10 years. Surviving are his wife, Deborah of Ruth one son. Eric, three daughters, Bobbi Rae, Rita and Rebecca. His parents Donald and Mary Ann of Harbor Beach, paternal grandmother, Irene of Ruth, four brothers, Tom and his wife Anne of Chicago, Kevin of Sterling Heights, Michael of Howell, and Brian of Lansing, six sisters, Mrs. Bruce (Gail) Maurer of Ruth Mrs. Mike (Karen) Galloway of Niles, Mrs. Wayne (Diane) Lemanski of Niles, Mrs. Jim (Lynn) Guzi of Livonia, Mrs. Greg (Denise) Mausolf of Berkley and Beth of Bad Axe. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Roman on December 28, 1993, and maternal grandparents Leroy and Anna (Weber) Essenmacher. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church of Ruth. The Rev. Richard Bokinskie Pastor, will officiate. The Rev. Jack Gentner, Pastor of St. John's Catholic Church in Essexville, will concelebrate. Burial will be in Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery in Ruth. Memorials may be made to the Gentner children education fund. Published Harbor Beach Times Thursday March 31. 1994.
