Glaza, 76, passed away Monday, October 16, 2006 after a courageous and lengthy battle against heart disease and diabetes. She was born October 31, 1929 in Sherman Township, daughter of the late John and Cecelia (Booms) Terbrack. She married Norman A. Glaza November 7, 1949 in SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Ruth. She was a member of St. Justin Catholic Church, Hazel Park for almost 50 years and a member of the Rosary Altar Society. Beatrice was a kind, gentle and loving soul who was quite well known for her incredible homemade bread. She is survived by her loving husband, Norman A. Glaza; and six children: Norma (Gary) Novick of Warren; James (Diane) Glaza of Clawson; John (Colleen) Glaza of Warren; Marie Glaza of Warren; Robert (Becky) Glaza of Madison Heights and David (Cindy) Glaza of Pontiac; one loving daughter-in-law, Kim Glaza; grandchildren: Jeff (Carrie) Novick, Jodie (Brian) McGuckin, Chris (Emily) Glaza, Candy (Michael) Albin, Scott (Lori) Glaza, Dawn Glaza, Gregory Glaza, Jesse Glaza, Justin Glaza, Lysa Glaza, and Stephen Glaza; and by four great-grandchildren: Darren and Janine McGuckin, Zachary Albin and Michael Glaza Sykes. She is also survived by five sisters: Evelyn Learman, Rita (Art) Glaza, Adelaide (Jerome) Block, Alice (Ken) Sadro and Rosalia (Richard) Holdwick; three brothers, Clarence (Delores) Terbrack, John Terbrack and Donald (Nancy) Terbrack. She was preceded in death by two sons, Kenneth in 1996 and Alan in January 2006; and five brothers: Herbert, Marvin, Maruis, Gerald and Herman Terbrack; and two sisters: Jeanette (Frank) Seidl and Matilda (Billie) Johnson. A Funeral Mass will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, October 20, 2006 at St. Justin Catholic Church, in Hazel Park. Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 23919 John R Road, Hazel Park, MI 48030. She will lie in state at 10:30 a.m. until the Funeral Mass Friday at the church.
