Rita and her husband Art were two very special people and now that they are gone, I feel that the sun shines less brightly than it did. Susan Bugg's, comments say it all "A Great Legacy has ended but we will have a part of them always in our hearts.... Meet our Mentors, Art and Rita Glaza... As of last week both have now gone home with The Lord.... We often have sang at facilities with Art and Rita.. Their Motto Was "Ya Gotta Make Em Laugh " which became Our "Motto." Until 4 years ago Art and Rita Glaza were singing at 13 Nursing Facilities a month... their hearts were to be The Lords Hands to Shut Ins and Residents at Facilities who just needed a good uplifting of laughter, love and fun.. We pray that we are able to carry on loving and making people laugh and be Jesus Hands to as many people as Art and Rita did as long as they did.. They were in their 80's and still performing in Nursing Facilities and Events ..When we would go with them to sing at events Rita would always stand behind us when were singing and be our "Little Cheerleader" saying "Look, your making their day, they are laughing, look over there, that person was sad when we came in and now look how happy their face is!!" We miss them tremendously but our heart is to love with The Love and Joy that Jesus gives us and make another Legacy of Joy and Laughter like the kind that Art and Rita Glaza behind...."Ya Gotta Make Em Laugh." Laughter and music and are The Lords Medicine to a hurting world.. A Merry Heart Doeth Good Like A Medicine, But a crushed spirit dries up the bones.
