Susan (Braker) Zmich Glaza
February 7, 1888 - June 13, 1980
Susie Glaza, 92, died Friday, June 13, 1980, in St. Joseph's Hospital-West, 
Clinton Township, after a short illness.  She was born February 7, 1888, in 
Paris Township, Huron County.  Mrs. Glaza was a member of the Holy Rosary 
Solidarity.  She married Enoch Zmich in 1909 in St. Mary's Catholic Church, 
Parisville.  He died September 23, 1932.  She married Ignatz Glaza October 19, 
1933, in St. Mary's Catholic Church.  They farmed in Paris Township until his 
retirement in 1948 when they moved to Ubly.  He died March 2, 1969.  She is 
survived by a daughter, Mrs. Peter (Ella Mae) Osantowski, Detroit; 12 
grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in 
St. John's Catholic Church.  Parish services will be at 2 p.m. today in the 
funeral home.  The Rev. Julius Spleet, pastor, will officiate.  Rosary will be 
recited by the Holy Rosary Solidarity at 8 p.m. today in the funeral home.  
Burial will be in St. Mary's Catholic Church Cemetery. Visiting is today in the 
Zinger Funeral Home.  Published Port Huron Times Herald Sunday June 15, 1980

Note:  Parents:  Frank & Susan Particka Braker.  Although her obituary clearly 
states that she married Enoch Zmich in 1909, their actual marriage record shows 
they were married on October 4, 1904.
