Donald Orville Glaza   
April 8, 1937 – January 21, 2021
Donald O. Glaza, age 83, passed away on Thursday January 21, 2021 in Mesa, 
Arizona.  Orv was born April 8, 1937 in Bingham Township, son of the late 
Stanley and Gertrude (Briolat) Glaza.  Orv was employed by Pontiac Motors, 
worked numerous other road jobs and settled in for 40 years at the Huron 
County Road Commission as a Mechanic, Snow Plow/Grater Driver and Foreman of 
the Shop.  Orv enjoyed rebuilding classic cars with his sons and daughter, 
tinkering in his garage and shed, traveling with his family thru the United 
States and the back country roads of Huron County.  Orv enjoyed the Great 
Outdoors and everything that went with it. There wasn't anything Orv could 
not fix.  

Orv is survived by his wife Marcia (Schramke) Glaza, his children, Steven 
(Steve) Glaza of Gilbert Azizona, Linda (Sadie) Glaza, and Kenneth (Ken) 
Glaza of Ubly; grandchildren, Matthew (Matt) Glaza, Timothy (Tim) Glaza, 
Nathan(Nate) Glaza of Arizona; Tiffany Glaza, Brandon Glaza, Madison Glaza 
of Ubly, and 7 great-grandchildren: brothers Arn and Larry of Ubly and Marie 
(Glaza-Roberts) Marsh of Florida; and his best friend Cindy Smith; and many 
nieces and nephews.  Orv was preceded in death by his baby daughter, Jody.  
A memorial service will be determined at a later date.  Published in Huron 
Daily Tribune on February 3, 2021.
