Christine Theresa (Burzynski) Glaza July 29, 1917 - November 23, 2004 Glaza, Christine T., Bay City, Michigan. Our loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister, passed away peacefully Tuesday, November 23, 2004, at Bay Medical Care Facility, age 87 years. She was born July 29, 1917 in Bay City to the late Joseph J. and Hattie (Rozengard) Burzynski. She married Emil S. Glaza and he predeceased her on April 17, 1976. Christine was a member of St. Hyacinth Church, its' Rosary and Altar Sodalities, the Mothers Club, Senior Citizens and the League of Catholic Women and Men. She enjoyed playing cards, bingo, and crafts. Surviving are her three children: Judith (Fred) Tiede, Auburn, Paul (Cheryl) Glaza, Oahu, Hawaii and Edward J. Glaza, Bay City; three grandchildren: Mark (Connie) Tiede, Steven Tiede and Courtney Glaza; two great grandsons, Brandon and Justin Tiede; one brother, Chester (Peggy) Burzynski; seven sisters-in-law: Esther Burzynski, Frances Burzynski, Alice Rybak, Beatrice Chesney, Stephanie Glaza, Florence Scheuler and Anne Youngblood. Christine was predeceased by seven brothers and a sister: Oscar, Florian, Eugene, William, Thadeus, Arthur, Victor Burzynski and Grace Kajdan. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, November 30, 2004, at 10:00 a.m. from St. Hyacinth Church. Fr. Edward J. Konieczka will celebrate Mass and interment will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Friends may call at the Ambrose Funeral Home on Monday from 1:00 to 9:00 p.m. and at church on Tuesday after 9:00 a.m. Members of St. Hyacinth Rosary and Altar Sodalities will pray the Rosary Monday at 2:00 p.m. followed by a Parish Vigil Service at 7:30 p.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to 'Family Wishes'.
