Richard Roy Gohl
October 24, 1925 – October 2, 1996
PALM HARBOR, Fla. — Richard R. Gohl, 70, of Palm Harbor, formerly of Davenport, 
died Wednesday, October 2, 1996, at his home.   Services will be Saturday at 
Curlew-Hills Funeral Home, Palm Harbor. Burial will be in Palm Harbor.

Mr. Gohl was employed in research and development for the Department of Army at 
Rock Island Arsenal and retired in 1985 from Pictinney Arsenal, Dover, N.J.  He 
was born October 24, 1925, in Detroit.  He married Rita Tenbusch in 1952 in 
Detroit.  During World War II, he served with the Army in Europe.

Memorials may be made to Hospice.  Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Mary 
McCleary, Blue Grass, Iowa; sons, Russell, Minot, N.D., and Sgt. Charles, 
stationed with the Air Force in Germany; five grandchildren; and two sisters.
