Willard Casimer Gomoluch   
September 26, 1922 – June 25, 1965
Willard C. Gomoluch, 42, Kinde business man and member of Kinde Village Council, 
died about 7p.m. Friday in Hubbard Memorial Hospital, Bad Axe, of burns, 
suffered Tuesday morning in an explosion of gasoline.  Gomoluch was severely 
burned when the engine of his pickup truck backfired as he poured gasoline into 
the carburetor after removing the air cleaner.   He was sprayed by the flaming 
fuel and was burned on the face, head and upper part of his body.   The remains 
are in William D. Gage Funeral Home.  Funeral arrangements are incomplete.  Born 
September 25, 1922, in Paris Township, Huron County, he came to Kinde five years 
ago from Detroit.  He and Mamie Qsentoski were married August. 25, 1945, in St. 
John's Catholic Church. Ubly.   Mr. Gomoluch was a member of the Bad Axe Knights 
of Columbus Council 1546, the Holy Name Society and Ushers Club at St. Edward's 
Catholic Church in Kinde, and was a member of the Kinde Park Committee.

Surviving are his widow; two daughters, Diane and Marie, and two sons, Robert 
and Billy Gomoluch, all at home.  Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 
10 a.m. in St. Edwards Church by Rev. Paul C. Pelletier.  Burial will be in the 
church cemetery.   The remains are in the William D. Gage Funeral Home in Kinde 
where the Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Sunday.   Published Port Huron Times
