Marlene Mary (Kirsch) Gosdzinski
October 1, 1938 - May 16, 1999
Marlene Mary Gosdzinski, age 60, of Paris Twp died Sunday May 16, 1999 at 
Covenant Harrison of Saginaw after a short illness.  She was born October 1, 
1938 in Harbor Beach to Margaret (Messing) Kirsch and the late Wilbert A Kirsch.  
She married Eugene Gosdzinski on September 27, 1958 at St. Anthony's Church of 
Helena.  She was a graduate of Ashmore Country School and attended Our Lady of 
Lake Huron High School.  She was a secretary of Hill Toppers Farm Bureau Club 
for 30 years, a cook at St. Mary's School for a few years and a member of St. 
Mary's Parish since 1958 and a member of the St. Mary's Rosary Sodality.  She 
loved her children and her family and listened to polka music and enjoyed 
dancing, sewing, baking and reading.  She lived near Ubly with her husband 
Eugene where they farmed all their life.

Surviving are her husband, Eugene, of Ubly, three daughters: Diane Brown and her 
husband, Mark, of Bad Axe, Glorie Ann Sadro and her husband, Wayne, of Bad Axe, 
and Darlene Pionk and her husband, Jerome, of Ubly; two sons, David and his 
wife, Janel, of Ubly, and Mark of Ubly; her mother Margaret Kirsch of Harbor 
Beach; two sisters: Delores Arndt and her husband, Ken, of Harbor Beach, and 
Joyce Puvalowski and her husband, Ray of Harbor Beach; two brothers: Don Kirsch 
and his wife, Karen, of Milford and Richard Kirsch and his wife, Linda,  of 
Harbor Beach; one sister-in-law: Linda Kirsch of Shelby Township; nine 
grandchildren: Jessica and Ashley Brown, Bradley and Quincy Sadro, Nicole, 
Chelsey and Samantha Pionk,  Andrew Gosdzinski and Tony Osantowski.  She was 
preceded in death by her father Wilbert on July 22 1993 and by her brother Ken 
Kirsch on December 28, 1996.

Mass of Christian burial will be held was Wednesday at St. Mary's Catholic 
Church of Parisville.  Rev. Charles Hammond, pastor, officiated.  Burial was in 
the church cemetery.  Arrangements were handled by the Zinger-Smigielski Funeral 
Home of Ubly.  Published Minden City Herald Thursday May 20, 1999.
