Mark Robert Gover
April 15, 1957 - October 15, 2006
Mark Robert Gover died on October 15, 2006 at the age of 49.  Mark was born in 
Mt. Pleasant, Michigan on April 15, 1957.  He earned the Bachelor of Music 
degree from Central Michigan University, a Master of Social Work and a PhD in 
Counseling Psychology from Michigan State University.  He has been employed by 
the State of Michigan, Center for Educational Performance and Information.  Mark 
was a loving husband and father whose greatest joy was family activities, 
particularly his children's athletic and music activities.  He was 
introspective, spiritually devoted and loved reading and playing the piano.  
Mark was an active member of St. Casimir Church where he was a part of the Music 
Ministry, a lector, Parish Council, and the Just Faith group. 

Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Robert P. and Nina Conaway Gover, and 
his father-in-law, John W. Glaza.  Mark is survived by his wife, Diana (Glaza); 
son, Max, 16; daughter, Elle, 13; brother Gary (Yvonne) of Puyallup, Washington; 
sisters, Noel (Glenn) Brakke of Moorhead, Minnesota, and Paula of Mt, Pleasant, 
Michigan; mother-in-law, Doris M. Glaza; brothers- and sisters-in-law, Gerald 
and Cindy Glaza, Joan and Ron Smith, Janet and Don Williams, Michael and Beverly 
Glaza; nieces and nephews, Aaron Gover, David and Robert Brakke, Katie Gover, 
Matthew, Julie, Jane Glaza, Blake Williams, Justin and Andrew Smith, and Mareka 
Glaza. 

The family will receive friends at St. Casimir Church, 815 Sparrow Ave., 
Lansing, Michigan from 6 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 18th with the Rosary 
at 7:00 p.m.  A Memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, October 19th at 
St. Casimir Church, with Father Bill Lugger officiating.  In lieu of flowers, 
memorial contributions may be made to the Gover Children's Education Fund, MSU 
Federal Credit Union, PO Box 1208, East Lansing, MI 48826-9946.  The family is 
being served by the Palmer, Bush & Jensen Family Funeral Homes.  Condolences can
