Dennis George Grifka
August 20, 1971 - October 2, 1993
Dennis G. Grifka, 22, of Ubly died Saturday, October 2, 1993.  He was born 
August 20, 1971 in Bad Axe, son of George Grifka and Diane (Jaskowski) 
Grifka.  Mr. Grifka was a 1989 graduate of Ubly High School and worked at 
Thumb Tool in Bad Axe and at Mark Oberski Farms.  He was a parishioner at 
St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Parisville. 

Surviving are his parents, George and Diane Grifka, Ubly; two sisters, Mrs. 
Frank (Donna) Osantowski of Decker and Mrs. Randy (Barbara) Peruski of Ubly; 
one brother, Andy Grifka, at home; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer 
(Beatrice) Lamke of Ubly; three nieces and three nephews.  He was preceded 
in death by his paternal grandparents, August and Theresa Grifka; and his 
maternal grandfather, John Jaskowski.
Services were held Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church.  The 
Rev. Ronald Dombrowski, pastor, officiated with burial m the church 
cemetery.  Funeral arrangements were conducted by the Zinger-Smigielski 
Funeral Home, Ubly.  Published Minden City Herald Thursday October 7, 1993.
