Barney Guitar
Harbor Beach, Nov 9 – Barney Guitar, 68, died Tues after a long illness. Born 
Aug 21, 1881, in Paris twp, he was a lifelong resident of Huron County. Mr 
Guitar is survived by his widow, Julia, four sons, Bernard and Ralph Guitar, 
both of Detroit; and Leverne and Alvin Guitar, both of harbor Beach; four 
daughters, Mrs Madeline Jones, Baltimore MD; Mrs Velma Woychowski, Avoca; Mrs 
Florence Miller, Centerline, MI and Mrs Louise Miller, yale; three brothers, 
John and Joseph Guitar, both of Ruth and Leo Guitar, Harbor Beach, and three 
sisters, Mrs William Volmering, MRs Jacob Buhl and Mrs Mary Hitch, all of 
Ruth.  Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Fri in Our Lady of Lake Huron 
Cath ch. Rev James J Marvin will officiate. Burial will be in Rock Falls 
Cemetery. The remains are in the Joshua Morgan funeral home.
