Mrs Anna Guitar
Ruth, Jan 28 – Mrs Anna Guitar, 65, wife of John Guitar, active many years in SS 
Peter & Paul Cath ch, died unexpectedly Sat afternoon in her home in Sherman 
twp. Born Aut 18, 1884, in Sherman twp, Mrs Guitar was a lifelong resident of 
the twp.  She was a member of the Confraternity of Christian Mothers and Fidelis 
Regina circle, Daughters of Isabella, of which she was chancellor the last 8 
years. Ref Frank W Kaufmann will officiate at solemn high mass, assisted by 
other priests, at 9:30 a.m. Tues in SS Peter & Paul ch. Burial will be in the 
church cemetery. Members of the Daughters of Isabella will meet Sun afternoon at 
the Guitar home for rosary devotions. Christian Mothers will also conduct Rosary 
devotions at another time. Mrs Guitar is survived by her husband, a daughter, 
Mrs Angus H MacEachin, Ubly; two sons, John Guitar, Roseville, MI and Stanley 
Guitar, Detroit; 13 grandchildren, a great grandchild and a 
sister., Mrs Joseph Miller, Yale.
