Leon F. Guza September 30, 1941 - January 18, 1999 Leon F. Guza, 57, of Parisville, died Friday, January 18, 1999, at his residence of an apparent heart attack. He was born September. 30, 1941, in Ruth, the son of Leon E. and Gertrude (Klama) Guza. He married Lou Wanda Kipp January 8, 1972, at St. Joseph Catholic Church of Rapson. A graduate of Ubly High School in 1961, he farmed and worked at Midwest Rubber in Deckerville for years, and at Ubly Community Schools from 1979- 1981. He also worked at the Ruth Tile Co. and held various jobs in the area. He was a parishioner of St. Mary’s Church of Parisville. Surviving are 2 daughters: Jane Ann Sadro and her husband, David, and Theresa Hill and her husband, Dan, all of Bad Axe; 2 sons: Eugene Guza of Bad Axe, and Leon Guza and special friend, Sally Klemmer, of Port Austin; 3 grandchildren; 3 sisters: Mary Ann Klee and Bertha Booms and her husband, Vincent, all of Harbor Beach, and Anna McIntosh and her husband, James, of Almont; and 12 nieces and nephews. He was proceeded in death by his parents, and a brother- in-law, George Klee. Mass of Christian burial was held Monday, January 18 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church of Parisville with the Rev. Charles Harnmond, Pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery in the spring. Memorials may be given to the family discretionary fund.
