Private Hagle is the 8th Huron Co man to die in the conflict in Korea. Son of Earl Hagle and Mrs. Goldie Hagle, he was born Dec 1, 1931, in Bad Axe. He was graduated in 1950 by Bad Axe High school. He was employed two years in Detroit. Pfc Hagle joined the Marines in April 1952, and trained at Camp Pendleton, CA. He went overseas in the fall of 1952. He is survived by his parents; two sisters, Miss Eleanor Hagle and Mrs. Paul Hockmuth; two half- sisters, Betty Ann and Linda Mae Hagle, and a half-brother, Raymond Hagle, all of Bad Axe.
