August 21, 1918 - December 14, 2000
HEILIG LEONA M, Age 12, December 14, 2000.  Beloved wife of Marcus.  Dear 
mother of Carol Beauchamp, Joseph (Betty), Joan (Gary) Mitchell, Margaret 
(Mike) Burgess, Bonnie Heilig and Judy (Adam) Rodriguez. Loving grandmother 
ot 15. Great-grandmother of 3 1/2.  Mrs. Heilig was one of 17 children in 
her family.  Visitation Saturday 5-9 p m. and Sunday 2-9 p.m. at the 
Resurrection Funeral Home, 40800 Hayes (S. of H Mile) Clinton Twp.  Mrs. 
Heilig will lie in state Monday from 10 a.m. until time of theFuneral Mass 
10:30 at St. Michael Catholic Church, 40501 Hayes, Clinton Twp.  Memorials 
to the Michigan Diabetes Foundation appreciated.  Published Detroit Free 
Press Friday December 15, 2000.

Note:  Born in Detroit to Raymond & Clara (Wrubel) Goniwicha.  Married Marcus 
Heilig on September 28, 1940 in Our Lady of Lake Huron Catholic Church in 
Harbor Beach.
