Nancy Ann (Clor) Heilig
October 14, 1939 – February 14, 2022
Nancy Ann (Clor) Heilig, 82, of Lapeer, formerly of Minden City, Michigan, was 
called home by the Heavenly Father on Monday, February 14, 2022.  She was born 
to Daniel F. Clor and Marie A. (Puvalowski) Clor on October 14, 1939, in Harbor 
Beach, Michigan.  She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, 
sister, and friend.  Nancy was a devout Catholic and a member of Immaculate 
Conception Church of Lapeer, Michigan.  She was an accomplished seamstress, and 
enjoyed restoring furniture, home decorating and spending time with her children 
and grandchildren.  She worked proudly in the medical field for over twenty-five 
years, working 22 years as Clerk for the Outpatient Clinic at Crittenden 
Hospital in Rochester.  She enjoyed her co-workers and working at Marshall’s in 
Lapeer most recently.

Nancy is survived by Russell A. Heilig, and children, Melinda (John) Carter, R. 
Aaron Heilig, and Zane (Christina) Heilig; Grandchildren, Emily, Caroline, Zane, 
Benjamin, Alana, Natalia, Tara, and Sara; Siblings, Richard (Evelyn) Clor, David 
(Beverly) Clor, Kathleen (Thomas) Heilig, Kenneth (Adrianne) Clor, Mary Clor 
(Gerald Grekowiez); and many cherished friends, nieces and nephews, and sister-
in-law, Theresa.  Nancy was preceded in death by her parents and her brother 
Daniel J. Clor.

The family will receive friends from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, March 3, 2022, at 
Muir Brothers Funeral Home in Lapeer, Michigan.  The Rosary will be prayed at 6 
p.m. Thursday, March 3, 2022, at the funeral home.  A Funeral Mass will be held 
Friday, March 4, 2022, at 12:00 p.m.  (noon) at Immaculate Conception Catholic 
Church, in Lapeer, Michigan.  The family will receive friends from 11:45 a.m. 
until the time of the Funeral Mass at the Church.  Father Brian Hurley will 
celebrate the Funeral Mass, followed immediately by a funeral luncheon served at 
The White Horse Inn, 3 East High Street, Metamora, MI 48455.  In lieu of 
flowers, the family requests donations in Nancy’s memory to the American 
Diabetes Association, 20700 Civic Center Rd., Ste. 100, Southfield, MI 48076. 
Cremation has been entrusted to Muir Brothers Funeral Home in Lapeer.  Published
