Stanley J. Helewski
January 12, 1917 - July 9, 1980
UBLY - Stanley J. Helewski, 63, died Wednesday, July 9, 1980, in St. Mary's 
Hospital, Saginaw, after a short illness.  He was born January 12, 1917, in 
Paris Township.  He married Rita Kubacki June 1, 1946, in Smiths Comer.  Mr. 
Helewski served in the Pacific Theatre with the U.S. Army during World War 
II. 

He is survived by his wife; nine, daughters, Mrs. Ken (Patricia) Majeski and 
Mrs. Marvin (Margaret) Andreski, both of Kinde; Elizabeth and Barbara, both 
of Saginaw; Mrs. Carl (Susanne) Weber and Carlin, Mary Jo and Laurie, all of 
Ubly, and Mrs. Robert (Marilyn) Grocholski, Bay City; two sons, David and 
Richard, both of Bad Axe; four sisters, Mrs. Henry (Regina) Schmitt, Ubly; 
Mrs. Frances Schmitt and Mrs. Thomas (Edna) O'Shea, both of Bad Axe, and 
Mrs. Martha Hammerle, Ruth; two brothers, William and Bernard, both of Port 
Huron; and eight grandchildren. 

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in Holy Trinity Catholic Church.  
The Rev. Stephen Sramek, O.S.B., pastor, will officiate.  Burial will be in 
the church cemetery.  Visiting hours in the Zinger Funeral Home begin at 7 
p.m. today.  A rosary will be recited by the parish and Holy Name Society at 
8 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.  Published Times Herald (Port Huron,
