Monday, November 8, 2010 HURON DAILY TRIBUNE
Miss Samantha Lynn Hessling, 17, of Harbor Beach, passed away Saturday, 
November 6, 2010 at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit.  She was born August 13, 
1993 in Bad Axe to James and Susan (Wolschleger) Hessling.  Samantha was 
attending Harbor Beach High School as a senior and played volleyball for six 
years.  She was also in the architecture program at the Huron County Technical 
Center.  She was a member of the Helena Helpers 4-H Club.  She worked for Dian 
Volmering Catering of Harbor Beach and McDonalds Food & Family Center in Bad 
Axe.  Samantha enjoyed baby-sitting her cousins, drawing and baking.

She is survived by her parents, James and Susan Hessling of Harbor Beach; 
three sisters, Ashley Hessling and her special friend, Josh, of Saginaw, 
Amanda Hessling and her special friend, Brian of Sebewaing, Kimberly Hessling 
of Harbor Beach; her paternal grandparents, Marvin and Patricia Hessling of 
Harbor Beach; many aunts, uncles and cousins.  She was preceded in death by 
her maternal grandparents, Jerome and Mary Wolschleger.

The funeral mass will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2010 at St. Anthony 
Catholic Church in Helena. The Rev. William Spencer, pastor, will officiate.  
Burial will be in the church cemetery.  Visitation will be from 1 to 9 p.m. on 
Tuesday at the Zinger-Smigielski Funeral Home in Ubly and from 10 to 11 a.m. 
Wednesday at the church. There will be a parish vigil service at 7 p.m. 
Tuesday evening at the funeral home.  Memorials are requested to the family 
discretionary fund.
