George Hessling
Minden City, July 11 -- George Hessling, 42, lifelong resident of the Thumb, 
died today in his home in  Delaware Twp, Sanilac County, after an illness of 10 
yrs.  He is survived by his widow, Agnes; three daughters, Georgeann, Dorothy 
and Marilyn, all of whom live with their parents; five brothers, Charles and 
August, both of Ruth; Norman and Joseph, both of Harbor Beach, and Leo, Detroit; 
and two sisters, Mrs. Stanley Lemanski, Minden City and Mrs. Theodore Geiger, 
Ruth.  He was born Nov 14, 1908, in Sherman Twp, Huron Co. He and Agnes Messing 
were married June 14, 1933 at SS. Peter and Paul Cath ch in Ruth.  

He was a member of the Holy Name Society of the church. Since his marriage, he 
lived in Delaware Twp. Solemn Requiem High Mass will be chanted at 9:30 a.m. 
Sat. in SS Peter and Paul church by Rev. Frank W. Kaufmann, pastor, assisted by 
Rev. Francis Welsmiller, assistant pastor and Rev George Artman, past of St 
Joseph ch, Klacking Creek, MI.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.
