Clara (Kubacki) (Lackowski) Hill
August 20, 1903 - June 5, 1984
Funeral services were held Frlday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Parisville 
for Clara Hill, 80, Parisville who died unexpectedly Tuesday at her 
residence after suffering an apparent heart attack.  The Rev. Leonard 
Wilkuskl. pastor officiated.  Burial was in the church cemetery.  

She was born August 20, 1903 in Bingham Township, daughter of the late John 
and Catherine (Guza) Kubacki.  Miss Clara Kubackl and John Hill were married 
September 6, 1921 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Parisville.  He preceded 
her in death in January 1977.  She was a lifelong parishinoer of St. Mary's 
Catholic Church, Parisville, a member of the church's rosary sodality and 
treasurer of the church's senior citizens.  She was a member of the V.F.W. 
Womens Auxiliary, Parisville Post No. 5740.  Mrs. Hill and her husband 
retired from farming in 1957. 

Surviving are three daughters; Mrs. Joseph (Adeline) Jurgelonis, Troy, 
Marion Bodalski, Fraser and Mrs. Bud (Julia) Gouine, Mayville; one son, 
Gerald Hill, Parisville; 15 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and three 
sisters, Jennie Chinoski, Detroit, Julia Susalla, Parisville and Agnes 
Fulford, Mt. Clemens.  Five sisters and five brothers preceded her in death. 

Funeral arrangements were conducted by the Zinger Smigielski Funeral Home 
where a rosary was offered Thursday by St. Mary's Rosary Sodality, followed 
by a parish wake service conducted by Fr. Wilkuskl.  Published Minden City 
Herald Thursday June 14, 1984.
