Ronald Andrew Horiski Sr. May 20, 1946 - November 20, 2018 Ronald A. Horiski Sr., 72, of Summerfield, Florida and formerly of Harbor Beach, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, November 20, 2018 in Ocala, Florida. He was born on May 20, 1946 in Detroit to the late Leo and Gertrude (Zagorski) Horiski. He married Terry A. Peyerk on August 6, 1966 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rapson. Ron was a proud veteran of the US Navy, serving in Vietnam on the USS St. Paul CA73. He owned and operated Horiski Masonry. He also worked as an electrician at E-1 in Ocala, Florida. Ron enjoyed playing poker with their amazing friends, Mike and Kathy Calcagni and spoiling his puppy, Rosco. Ron is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Terry of Summerfield, Florida; one son, Ronald A. Horiski Jr. and his wife, Katerina, of Ocala, Florida; two daughters, Renee T. Morell and her husband, Ken, o f Ubly, Robin L. Daniel and her husband, James, of Warren; grandchildren, Trenton Morell (Naomi) of Laurel Maryland, Josh Horiski and Averie Horiski, both of Ocala, Florida; siblings, Jan Becking of Bad Axe, Patricia Stiff of Bad Axe, Don Horiski of Bach, Michigan, Jim (Laurie) Horiski of Bad Axe, Nancy Tait of Kingston, Leanne (Lee) Horiski of Caro; step-siblings, Ed (Judy) Peyerk, JoAnne McConnel, Daniel (Charlotte) Peyerk, Kevin (Joanne) Peyerk; over 100 nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Ron was preceded in death by his parents; step parents, Ed and Ester (Bucholtz) Peyerk; his siblings, Delores Horiski, Jacquelin Talaski. Betty Jurgess, Ken Horiski; step-siblings, Joan (Omar) Robarts, Jerry Peyerk, Gene Peyerk, Brian Peyerk. The memorial Mass for Ron was 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 30 at St John Catholic Church, Good Shepherd Parish in Ubly. Ron’s family will greet friends at St John Catholic Church on Friday, from 10:00 a.m. until the Mass at 11:00 a.m. Memorials have been requested to Ron’s family, care of his wife, Terry.
