Emil Andrew Huska, 72, of Asheville, North Carolina died Thursday, May 8, 2014 
in his home surrounded by his loving family.  He was a proud graduate of 
Michigan State University and a volunteer at the Asheville Community Theater.   
Emil was probably best known as the smiling face that would make sure 
everything was okay during your visit to Carrabba's Italian Grill on Tunnel 
Road.  He worked there over 18 years and was a vital part of the Carrabba's 
family.

His survivors include his wife of nearly 50 years, Audrey; son, Mike and his 
wife, Denise of Cary; daughter, Christine Scranton and her husband, David of 
Mills River along with four grandchildren.   

A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM, Saturday, May 10, 2014 at St. 
Eugene's Catholic Church with Fr. Patrick Cahill celebrating.  Burial will 
follow at Green Hills Cemetery. The family will gather to greet friends 
beginning an hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be to 
American Cancer Society or charity of choice.  Morris Funeral Home is in charge 
of arrangements and condolences may be sent through the website
