Genevieve Margaret (Terbrack) Innes
August 11, 1915 – December 25, 2002
Genevieve Margaret Innes, 87, of Snover and formerly of Ruth, passed away 
Wednesday December 25, 2002, at her residence.  Genevieve was born August 11, 
1915, in Ruth to the late Henry and Christina (Wolschleger) Terbrack.   She 
married Gordon Innes on July 13, 1963, at the Baptist Church of Cass City.  He 
preceded her in death on July 28, 1991.  Genevieve attended the Ss.  Peter and 
Paul Elementary School in Ruth.  She farmed some with her husband and was a 
homemaker.  She was an accomplished accordion player.  She loved her cat of 
fifteen years, Putsy.  She was a generous person and loved gardening and 
zinnias.  

Genevieve is survived by one daughter, Betty Mausolf and her husband, Robert, 
of Harbor Beach; two sons, Alvin Messing Sr. of Ubly, Paul Messing and his 
special friend, Kathy, of Cass City; 15 grandchildren; 36 great-
grandchildren.  Genevieve was preceded in death by her daughter, Doris 
Goniwicha on July 2, 1996; three brothers, Laverne, Lawrence and James 
Terbrack.  

The funeral service for Genevieve Innes will be at 11 a.m.  on Saturday, 
December  28, 2002, at the Zinger-Smigielski Funeral Home Chapel in Ubly.  
Burial will be in the Moore Township Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 1 to 5 
p.m.  and 7 to 9 p.m.  tonight and from 10 a.m.  until the service on 
Saturday.
