Ione Lucille (Zmich) Ione Lucille (Zmich) (May 2, 1920 - September 14, 2009) 
Saginaw, Michigan. Beloved mother and aunt passed away Monday, September 14, 
2009 at HealthSource Saginaw. Age 89 years. Daughter of the late John and Etta 
(Western) Zmich, Ione was born on May 2, 1920 in Auburn, Michigan. She married 
Fred P. Weinert on November 20, 1940.  He predeceased her on May 7, 1998. She 
was of the Lutheran faith.  Surviving is one daughter, Judith Kay Weinert, 
Saginaw; many dear nieces and nephews.  Ione was preceded in death by a 
brother, Irvin Zmich and two sisters, Doris Price and Dorothy Oldeck. Funeral 
Service will take place 1:00 p.m. Thursday, September 17, 2009 at The Snow 
Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd., (between Shattuck and McCarty). Chaplain Doug 
Bassett will officiate with burial in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call at 
the funeral home where the family will be present on Thursday from 11:30 a.m. 
until the time of Service. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of 
sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Community Village or HealthSource 
Saginaw.
