March 5, 1900  - December 16, 1954 
Ruth, December 17 - John Terbrack, 54 died Thursday in the Sherman Township 
farm home where he was born and spent his entire life.  Mr. Terbrack suffered 
a stroke a week ago.  He was born March 5, 1900.  He and Miss Cecelia Booms 
were married February 26, 1919, in St Anthony's Catholic Church, Helena.
   
Mr.  Terbrack is survived by his widow, five sons: Herbert of Ruth, and 
Marvin, Clarence, John Jr. and Donald, who live with their parents; eight 
daughters: Mrs. Arthur Learman, Harbor Beach; Mrs. Frank Seidl, Ferndale; Mrs. 
Arthur Glaza and Mrs. Jerome Block, both of Ruth; Mrs. Norman Glaza, Hazel 
Park; Mrs.  Billie Johnson, Detroit; and Misses Alice and Rosalie Terbrack, 
who live with their parents; 21 grandchildren; three brothers: A.J. and Henry 
Terbrack both of Ruth and Fred Terbrack Minden City; and three sisters: Mrs.  
Caroline Clor and Mrs. Katherine Schumacher, both of Ruth and Mrs. Ada 
Hessling, Harbor Beach.   A son, Marius, was killed in an automobile accident 
October 29, 1951.  Mr. Terbrack was a member of Holy Name society of SS Peter 
& Paul Catholic Church.   

Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday in SS Peter & Paul Catholic 
Church.  Very Rev. Frank W.  Kaufmann will officiate.  Burial will be in the 
church cemetery.  Remains are in the family residence.
