Matilda Laura (Terbrack) Johnson
June 5, 1931 – September 17, 1996

Matilda (Terbrack) Johnson, 65, of Detroit, passed away September 17, 1996, in 
Cheyenne, Wyo.  She was born June 5, 1931, in Ruth, daughter of the late John 
and Cecelia (Booms) Terbrack.  On October 30, 1950, she was united in marriage 
to Bill Johnson at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Ruth. 

Surviving are her husband, Bill; four daughters, Belinda, Pam, Rebecca, 
Regina; seven sons, Chuck, Dennis, Stephen, Sam, Johathan, Simon and Matthew; 
38 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; seven sisters, Evelyn Learman, 
Jeanetta Seidl, Rita Glaza, Beatrice Glaze, Adelaide Block, Alice Sadro, 
Rosalia Holdwick; four brothers, Marvin, Clarence, John and Donald Terbrack.

Funeral services were held September 21 at St. Mary’s Cathedral in Cheyenne, 
Wyo.  A memorial service will be 1 pm. Saturday at our Lady of Loretta 
Catholic Church at 6 Mile Road and Beech Daly, Detroit.
