Donna Cecelia (Hessling) Klama December 13, 1944 – January 16, 2021 Donna Cecilia (Hessling) Klama of Parisville, Mich. passed away Saturday, January 16, 2021. Donna was born December 13, 1944 in Harbor Beach. Daughter of Elmer and Leona (Geiger) Hessling. Graduated from Saints Peter and Paul Catholic school in Ruth in 1963. Attended secondary school in Saginaw. Married Jerome Romzek in 1966 they had three children Michael, Cheryl and Scott. Married Casimer Klama Sr. in 1983 and gained five stepchildren. She was a member of The Daughters of Isabella since 1993 and filled many duties including treasurer and regent president, as well as a member of The Knights of Columbus Women's Auxiliary and The Catholic Women's League where they found strength in fellowship giving back to the community. She also enjoyed teaching young Catholics, Confraternity of Christian Doctrine, and a member of The Rosary Sodality where she was known to open up her home for making their quilts. Donna will always be remembered for her passion and deep love for her family. She was always content with large gatherings and big meals. She was the "go to" person for calling for a recipe where she always responded with the ingredients without looking them up. The directions went something like this, "just pour some in" or How much mom? "well until it looks like you got enough". With her generosity and giving spirit she was always willing to help if needed. Survived by her children Michael Romzek and his wife Wendy of Ruth, Cheryl Kelly and husband Kristopher of Grand Blanc , and Scott Romzek of Saginaw; stepchildren Casimer Klama Jr, Dean (Nicki) Klama, Sandy Klama, and Tammy Klama; grandchildren William (Alivia) Oliver III, Kaila (Dan) Cooper, Elyssa Kelly, Kaitlyn Oliver, Emily Kelly, Cody (Katie) Romzek, Kyle Romzek, Allison Romzek, Andrew Romzek, Zachary Romzek and Sam Klama; great grandchildren Sophia Oliver, Ariana Cooper, Isabella Oliver, Wyatt Romzek, Hailey Romzek; siblings Austin (Jean) Hessling, Richard (Nancy) Hessling, Warren (Sharon) Hessling, Mark (Angie) Hessling, James (Judy) Hessling, Kevin (Louise) Hessling, Bridget (Doug) Brown, and Steven Hessling; brother and sister-in-laws Beatrice Osantowski, Pete (Marilyn) Klama, Louise Pionk, Irene (Charley) Holdwick, Sabina (Bob) Wrobel, John (Cheryl) Klama, and Sophie Davis; and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband Casimer Klama Sr.; stepson Samuel Klama; and sister-in-law Charlotte Hessling. In keeping with her wishes a memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, Jan. 23, 2021 at 1 p.m. at St. Isadore Parish – St. Mary Catholic Church in Parisville. The family will receive guests for visitation on Friday, Jan. 22, 2021 from 3-7 p.m. at the Kaufman Funeral Home in Bad Axe or Saturday at the church from noon until the service time at 1 p.m. A Daughter's of Isabella rosary will be offered on Friday at 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
