He was born July 13, 1914, in Paris Township, son of the late Fred and Caroline (Mazure) Klama. Aloisy Klama and Miss Balbina (Spitza) Klama were married September 6, 1958, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Parisville. He worked for Gemmer Manufacturing, Detroit, until the company moved in 1954. He farmed in Paris Township from 1954 until 1969, retiring due to poor health. Surviving are his wife, Balbina; five step daughters, Mrs. John (Beatrice) Pionk, Ruth, Mrs. Elmer (Louise) Pionk, Ubly, Mrs. Charles (Irene) Holdwick, Ferndale, Mrs. Robert (Sabina) Wrobel, Hamtramak, and Mrs. Phillip (Sophie) Davis, Deckerville; three step sons, Peter Klama, Richmond, Casimer Klama, Minden City, and John Klama, Romulus; 28 grandchildren; four great- grandchildren; one brother, Peter Klama, Ruth, and four sisters, Agnes Phaff and Josephine Slavick, both of Ubly, and Gertrude Guza and Mrs. Earnest (Bertha) Cook, both of Ruth. Two brothers, Joseph Klama and Frank Klama, and one sister, Martha Glaza preceded him in death. Services were held last Wednesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Parisville. Rev. Stanley Surman, officiated with burial in the church cemetery. Arrangements were made by the Zinger Smigielski Funeral Home, Ubly. Published Minden City Herald Thursday April 7, 1983.
