Annette Mary (Kubacki) Klee April 9, 1954 - April 8, 2021 Annette Mary Klee, 66 of Ruth, was called home by the good Lord surrounded by her family on April 8, 2021 at McLaren Bay Region Hospital after a courageous battle with Covid. Annette was born on April 9, 1954 to the late Clemens and Evelyn (Zurek) Kubacki. She was one of the first babies delivered by Dr. E.C. Holdship. She was united in marriage to Harvey Klee on November 4, 1978 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Parisville. After marriage, Annette and Harvey became parishioners of Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Ruth. Annette was a member of the Sts. Peter & Paul Christian Mothers and enjoyed working at the Mama Ruth Picnic and taking care of the animal tent. Annette attended St. Mary Elementary School in Parisville through the eighth grade before moving on to Ubly Community Schools of which she was a 1972 graduate. She worked at Hamill Manufacturing, commonly referred to as the Seatbelt factory. After marrying Harvey, she became a full time, dedicated farmer and stay at home mother. She later worked at Sts. Peter & Paul Preschool for many years and always enjoyed catching up and visiting with her former students in following years. Annette spent the rest of her life taking care of " her cows", helping on the farm and spending time with her precious grandchildren. Annette always greeted people with a warm smile and an open heart. She enjoyed her visits at the store with friends and her favorite checkout clerks at Walmart, especially the pharmacy department employees. Annette enjoyed mowing the lawn, praying the rosary, dancing and listening to polka music, baking desserts and sharing them, flowers and gardening, watching ice skating, her daily soaps, Survivor, Dancing with the Stars and the Detroit Tigers. She was an avid listener of the Ubly Bearcat Sport Teams broadcasts. Annette enjoyed decorating for every holiday, Christmas being her truest favorite. She enjoyed the many years with friends at the Huron Community Fair. It is most note-worthy to mention that Annette enjoyed her many frequent phone conversations with cherished family and friends. Annette is survived by her husband, Harvey of Ruth; three children, Bradley (Jennifer) Klee of Ruth, Marsha (Donald) McDonald of Ubly, Daniel (Jolene) Klee of Bad Axe; nine grandchildren, Brady, Jozilyn , Jacob and Briann Klee, Elizabeth Bellis, Joel and Kenley McDonald, Jayce and Abigail Klee; mother- in-law, Marie Klee; one sister, Joyce (Michael) Messing; one brother, Michael (Ann) Kubacki; seven sisters-in-law, Colleen Kubacki, Mildred (Paul) King, Pauline (Jerry) Long, Alice Gorkowski, Sheila (Kerry) Grifka, Lauretta (Kenneth) Roberts, Sharon (Thomas) Murray; six brothers-in-law, Kenneth (Terri) Klee, Dennis (Bonnie) Klee, Ernest Klee, Timothy (Laura) Klee, Irvin (Cheryl) Klee, Earl Klee; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, great great nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clemens and Evelyn Kubacki, her brother, Mark Kubacki; father-in-law, Lawrence Klee; one sister-in-law, Catherine Klee; one nephew, Paul Oswald. The Mass of Christian burial for Annette will be May 22 at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Cemetery in Ruth. Her final resting place will be in the Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
