Mrs. Rose Klee
Ruth, Feb 18 - Mrs. Rose Klee, 64, wife of Joseph Klee and lifelong resident of 
this vicinity, died Tues night in Harbor Beach hospital of effects of a stroke 
suffered Feb 10.  

Born July 29, 1888 in Delaware Twp, Mrs. Klee moved when she was an infant with 
her parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Lautner, to Sherman Twp. Mrs. Klee was 
married Nov 6, 1907 to Mr. Klee in SS Peter & Paul Cath ch in Ruth. She was a 
member of the Confraternity of Christian Mothers. She is survived by her 
husband, 7 sons, Frank, Minden city; Charles and Leo, both of Harbor Beach; 
Lawrence of Ruth; Edward, Van Dyke; George, Detroit, and Marcus in Tokyo with 
the medical corps of the U S Army; 4 daughters, Mrs. Marcus Booms, Harbor Beach, 
Mrs. Bert Dore, Detroit; Mrs. Oscar Nickel, Center Line, MI and Mrs Cline 
Oswald, 
Minden City; 45 grandchildren, two brothers, Joseph Lautner, Minden city and 
George Lautner, Croswell and two sisters, Mrs. Hermann Oswald, Minden city and 
Ms Roman Booms, Harbor Beach. 

Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Sat in SS Peter and Paul ch. Very Rev 
Frank W Kaufmann will officiate.  Burial will be in the church cemetery. Remains 
are in Edward Zinger & Son funeral home, Ubly, where Fr Kaufmann will conduct 
Rosary devotions at 8 p.m. Fri.
