Irene Marjorie (Boots) Koenders
September 20, 1915 – January 31. 2007
Irene M. Koenders, 91, of Marshall died on Wednesday, January 31, 2007, at her 
home.  Mrs. Koenders was born on September 20, 1915, in Edenville, Michigan to 
Arthur and Ada (Brownlee) Boots.  She married Earl Koenders in Midland in 
1935.  He preceded her in death in November 1986. 

She is survived by two granddaughters Janice Hachar of WI and Lee Ann 
Fischhaber of Marshall, son-in-law Lee Fischhaber of Marshall and two great-
grandchildren Jacquelyn and Eric Hachar.  She is also survived by two sisters 
Louella Keeley and Clara Anger, a brother John Boots and a long time companion 
Ed Goodrich of Marshall.  She was preceded in death by her husband and a 
daughter Janet Fischhaber. 

A private service will take place at Midland Memorial Gardens. Memorial 
contributions may be made to Jackson/Oaklawn Hospice. Assistance with memorials 
is available at the Kempf Funeral Home.
