Mr. Koenders is survived by his wife, Anna; a son, George Koenders, Center Line, Mich.; five daughters, Mrs. Leo Coleman, Lincoln Park; Mrs. William Gibbard, Minden City; Mrs. August Zimmermann, New Haven; Mrs. Eugene De Caussin, Roseville, and Mrs. Bernadetta Patterson, Detroit; 20 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. He was born in Cleveland and when a boy moved to a farm near Ruth with his parents, where he lived the greater part of his life. Before moving to Detroit, he lived on a farm near Mt. Clemens.
