Anna Marie (Pomella) Koenders  
December 7, 1873 - January 16, 1967
Mrs. Anna M. Koenders, 93, of 7926 Griswold St., Lake Worth, died Monday.  
Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Bernadette Patterson of Lake Worth, Mrs. 
Frances Zimmerman of Lantana, Mrs. Catherine DeCaussin of Roseville, Michigan, 
Mrs. Mary Calnan of Mt. Clements, Michigan, and Mrs. Caroline Heilig of Romeo, 
Michigan; one son, George of Centerllne. Michigan; one brother, William Pomella 
of New Port Richey, Florida: 20 grandchildren; 67 great grandchildren and 12 
great-great grandchildren. 

Rosary services will be at 7:30 pm. today at Mack Stephenson Funeral Home, 
Lantana.  Requiem Mass will be at 9:30 a m. Wednesday at the Holy Spirit 
Catholic Church, Lantana.  Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at 
the funeral home.  Burial will be Roseville, Michigan.  Published The Palm Beach 
Post Tuesday January 17, 1967.

Notes:  Born in Kurtatsch, Austria (Kurtatsch, Austria is now called Cortaccia, 
Italy as the land was ceded to Italy following WWI) to George and Marie Anna 
(Stimpfl) Pomella.  Married Bernard Joseph Koenders on May 26, 1896 in Sts. 
Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Ruth, Michigan.  Died in Lake Worth, Palm 
Beach County, Florida.
