Alex Konkel
March 30, 1901 - February 4, 1936
Alex Konkel, 35, passed away suddenly Tuesday night at his home west of White 
Rock.  He had been in poor health for some time which was not considered 
serious.  Funeral services are to be held this Friday in St. Marys church, 
Parisvillc with burial in the parish cemetery.  Mr. Konkel was born in Paris 
township and spent the greater part of his life in this community.  He was 
married to Miss Lucy Lemanski and to this union were born four children Raymond, 
Clarence, Angeline and Evelyn which survive.  He is also survived by his mother, 
Mrs. Joseph Konkel, five brothers, Joseph, Detroit, John, Ubly, Martin and Xav-
ior, Harbor Beach and Louis and Edward at home; three sisters, Mrs. Joseph 
Busher, Detroit, Mrs. David White, Harbor Beach and Mrs. Frank Klada, Paris 
township.  Mr. and Mrs. Konkel have made their home on rented farms around 
Minden City since their marriage, until two years ago when he moved to Huron 
county.  Published Minden City Herald Friday February 7, 1936.

Lemanski on May 26, 1925.
