John Andrew Koroleski Sr. 
May 31, 1944 – September 6, 2000
John Andrew Koroleski Sr., 56, of Filion died Wednesday, September 6, 2000, at 
Covenant Healthcare in Saginaw.  He was born May 31, 1944, in Kinde.  He was 
the son of the late Raymond and Gertrude (Wisneski) Koroleski.  He was a 1963 
graduate of Kinde High School.  Mr. John Koroleski and Miss Margaret Pyrek 
were married on February 15, 1969, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Dwight.  
John worked at Active Industries, Inc., as a hi-lo driver for some 32 years 
before retiring in February 1999.  He enjoyed fishing, the outdoors, playing 
cards, especially euchre, polka music and spending time with his 
grandchildren.  

Surviving are his wife, Margaret, of Filion; three sons, Raymond Koroleski of 
Standish, John Koroleski Jr. and his wife, Brenda, of Port Austin and Richard 
Koroleski of Filion and his fiancée, Kristie Szymanski; two daughters, Joann 
Toner and her husband, Greg, of Filion and Marie Koroleski of Bad Axe and her 
fiancée, Roy Solis; five grandchildren, Raymond Toner, Thomas Toner, Jason 
Clancy, Stacey Clancy and Dana Clancy; one brother, Gerald Koroleski of Bad 
Axe; three sisters, Marie Kozlowski and her husband, Earl, of Kinde, Gloria 
Lasceski and her husband, Sal, of Centerline and Connie Ornowski and her 
husband, Jim, of Filion; and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in 
death by two sisters, Rita and Joann Koroleski.  

Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 1 p.m. Saturday, September 9, 
2000, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Dwight. Burial will follow in the church 
cemetery.  A parish scripture service will take place at 8 p.m. Friday at the 
MacAlpine Funeral Home, Gage Chapel, in Kinde.  Visitation will be 7 to 9 p.m. 
tonight, from noon to 9 p.m. Friday and from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the 
funeral home.
