Jean Rose (Priemer) Kramer   
June 17, 1945 - February 17, 2026
JEAN R. KRAMER, 80, of Harbor Beach, passed away Tuesday, February 17, 2026; her 
work on Earth was done.  She was born on June 17, 1945, in Harbor Beach, to the 
late Eugene and Sylvia (Rumptz) Priemer.  Jean was the third of five girls.  
Family was very important to Jean.  Her other hobbies included sewing, 
embroidering, quilting, and playing cards.  On April 4, 1964, Jean and Daniel 
Kramer were united in marriage.  He preceded her in death on June 6, 2023.  Jean 
was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church and was an altar server for 
many years.  She worked at SSPP School as an aide for over 20 years and was the 
cook at the school during the last two years it was open.  She also worked for 
Dian Volmering for some 25 years, preparing and catering meals for many.  Jean 
also helped Dan on the farm for many years.

Dan and Jean had two children, Daniel Jr. and Amy Jean.  She is survived by her 
children, Dan (Tanya) Kramer and Amy (John) Wilson; grandchildren, Nicole 
(Nathan) Fellows, Austin and Cecilia Kramer, Katelin and Megan Wilson; four 
great-grandchildren, Charlotte, Madison, Adam, and Nora Fellows; her sisters, 
Judy Messing, Cheryl Hill, Luanne (Calvin) Oberski; and many nieces and nephews.  
She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Sylvia; her husband, 
Daniel; her brother-in-law, Jerome Messing; her sister, Karen (Harold) 
Gornowich; and her brother-in-law, Jim Hill.

The Funeral Mass for Jean will be Monday, March 2, 2026, at 11 a.m. at Sts. 
Peter and Paul Catholic Church of the Holy Apostles Parish.  Burial will take 
place in the spring. Visitation for Jean will be Sunday, March 1, 2026, from 2-8 
p.m. at the Ramsey Funeral Home of Harbor Beach.  Visitation on Monday will be 
at the church, beginning at 10 a.m. until the time of services.  Published Huron
