Joseph Kubacki
May 30, 1968 – April 7, 2020
Joseph “JoJo” Kubacki, age 51, of Bad Axe, died Tuesday, April 7, 2020.  He was 
born May 30, 1968 in Cass City, to Eugene and Betty (Vogel) Kubacki. Joe 
graduated from Ubly High School in 1986.  He married Valerie Arndt on April 5, 
1997 in Ubly, after a blind date set up by Joe’s sister Dea.  JoJo was proud to 
have owned and operated a dairy farm for 33 years, he earned numerous gold and 
silver quality awards throughout that time.  In 2000, Joe and Valerie were named 
Outstanding Young Dairy Couple by the Michigan Milk Producers Association.  JoJo 
loved to hunt and fish, he looked forward to spending the opening morning of 
deer hunting season with his daughter Emily in the fall of each year, as well as 
coyote hunting.  Each spring, he also looked forward to going sucker spearing 
with his kids and family from the city.  Joe enjoyed spending long summer nights 
wrapping hay with his son Brandon, playing cards, farming, and especially 
spending time with family.  JoJo will be missed by many family, friends, and 
neighbors.  Published Huron County View April 16, 2020
