Mary (Choppa) Kubacki November 9, 1872 - September 9, 1950 Sept. 9 - Mrs. Mary Kubacki, 77, wife of Joseph R. Kubacki and resident of Huron County since she was an infant, died Saturday in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Peter Smaglinski, Sigel Township. Born November 9, 1872, in Germany she came to Huron County when she was about 10 months old. She is survived by her husband and daughter, two sons, Peter Kubacki, Grindstone City, and Frank Kubacki, Ubly, nine grandchildren, three great grandchildren, two brothers, Frank Choppa, Detroit, and Joseph Choppa, Bad Axe, and a stepbrother, Michael Kunat, Bad Axe. Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday in St. Mary's Catholic church in Parisville. Rev. Michael J. Kujawa will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The remains are in the Smaglinski home where Rosary devotion will be conducted at 8:30 p.m. Monday. Mrs. Kubacki was a member of the Holy Rosary society of St Mary's church.
