Sophia Katherine (Morell) Kubacki
August 8, 1912 - March 20, 1974
UBLY - Mrs. Sophia Kubacki, 61, died Wednesday in Provincial House, Cass 
City.  She was born August 8, 1912, in Austin Township.  She and Casimer B. 
Kubacki were married October 30, 1933, in St. John's Catholic Church.  Mrs. 
Kubacki is survived by her husband; four sons, Elmer Kubacki, Richmond, Va., 
Michael Kubacki, Onaway, Mich., and Martin and Ronald Kubacki, both of Ubly; 
two daughters, Mrs. Kenneth Griska and Mrs. Steve Potter, both of Pontiac; 
17 grandchildren; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Isadore Morell, Ubly; four 
brothers, Arthur Morell, Kingston, John and Floyd Morell, both of Ubly, and 
Michael Morell, Onaway, and four sisters, Mrs. Frederick Guarnieri and Mrs. 
Fanny Witkowski, both of Saginaw, Mrs. Robert Hey, Bad Axe, and Mrs. Ronald 
Gracey, Cass City.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. John's Catholic 
Church with Rev. Bernard Skornia, pastor, officiating.  Burial will be in 
the church cemetery.  A Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Friday in Zinger 
Funeral Home.  Published Times Herald (Port Huron, Michigan) Thursday March 
21, 1974.
