Mary Ann (Osentoski) Kubacki December 9, 1901 - August 30, 1990 Mary A. Kubacki, 88, Bad Axe, Thursday, August 30, 1990 at Huron Memorial Hospital, Bad Axe, after a long illness. She was born December 9, 1901 in Paris Township, daughter of the late Frank and Rose (Mazure) Osentowski. She married August Kubacki July 6, 1920 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Parisville. He preceded her in death August 23, 1977. Mrs. Kubacki graduated from a country school and farmed with her husbiand in Bingham Township. She was a former member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Smith Corners, and a former, member of its altar society. She moved to Bad Axe in 1971 where she was a parishioner at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Bad Axe, since 1971. Surviving are five sons, Felix (Rosemarie) Kubacki, Harbor Woods, August (Doloris) Kubacki Jr.; Livonia, Eugene (Betty) Kubacki, Ubly, Anthony (Mary Ann) Kubacki, Cass City, and Edward (Deloris) Kubacki, Port Austin; six daughters, Mrs. Elmer (Beatrice) Micklash, Bad Axe, Mrs, Alvin (Christina) Ellers, Bad Axe, Mrs. Felix (Frances) Polega, Kinde, Mrs. George (Rose) Smith, Filion, Mrs. Donald (Elinore) Krawczyk, Houghton Lake, and Mrs. Robert (Jeanette) Skipinski, Lakeville; 80 grandchildren, 101 great- grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren; four brothers, Leo Osentowski, Felix Osentowski, and Stanley Osentowski, all of Ubly, and Sylvester Osentowski, Owendale; and three sisters Theresa Grifka and Mrs. Stanley (Frances) Rutkowski, both of Ubly and Jean Equist, Detroit. Preceding her in death were two sisters, Albina Wojtelewicz and Lucy Rutkowski. Services were 11 a.m. Monday, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Bad Axe. The Rev. Jack Leipert, pastor, officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery. Arrangements were made by the Zinger-Smigielski Funeral Home, Ubly. Published Minden City Herald Thursday September 6, 1990.
