Lucy C. (Smaglinski) Kubacki
January 5, 1902 - June 30, 1986
Lucy C. Kubacki, 84, Bad Axe, formerly of Bingham Township, died Monday 
morning at Huron Memorial Hospital after a short illness.  She was born 
January 5, 1902 in Siegel Township.  Daughter of the late Frank and Sophie 
(Mazure) Smaglinskl.  She married Aloysius (Alex) Kubacki on October 29, 
1923 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Parisville.  She was a member of Sacred 
Heart Parish, Bad Axe, a member of the Sacred Heart Senior Citizen Group; a 
member of the Altar Society of Holy Trinity Parish, Smith Corners, a member 
of the Block Rosary of Bad Axe and member of the Mile Rosary of Holy Trinity 
Parish.  She lived in Bingham Township until 1976. 

She is survived by 5 daughters: Mrs. Rita Helewski of Ubly; Mrs. Eugene 
(Mary Ann) Wisneski, Bad Axe; Mrs. Eugene (Mildred) Lamke of Ruth; Mrs. 
Lawrence (Patricia) Vogel, Ruth and Mrs. Thomas (Rosemary) Wisneski of 
Warren.  Five sons: Irwin Kubacki of Bad Axe; Stanley Kubacki of Oxford; 
Clarence P. Kubacki, Ubly; Aloysius Kubacki Jr. of Ubly and Bernard Kubacki 
of Bad Axe; 49 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; one brother, George 
Smaglinski, Port Huron; one sister, Mrs. Jacob (Rose) Ulfig, Bad Axe.  She 
was preceded in death by one daughter, one son, two grandchildren, nine 
brothers and six sisters. 

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 
Bad Axe.  The Rev. Charles Keho. pastor, will officiate.  Burial will be in 
Holy Trinity Cemetery, Smiths Corners.  Friends may call at the Zinger-
Smigielski Funeral Home of Ubly after 4:30 Tuesday.  A parish wake service 
will be held Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.  St. Mary's Mens Club Rosary will be 8 
p.m. Wednesday and the Holy Trinity Altar Society Rosary was held 8:00 p.m.
