Donald Stephen (Kucharczyk) Cook
December 26, 1923 - June 19, 1953
Kinde. June 20 - Funeral services for Donald Stephen Cook, 29. Bad Axe, also 
known as Kucharczyk, who was killed Friday night in an automobile accident 
near Port Austin, will be conducted at 9 a.m. Tuesday in St. Edward's 
Catholic church at Kinde.  Rev Frederick J. Maynard will officiate and 
burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery at Parisville.  The body is at the 
Paul A Hunter funeral home at Kinde where Rosary devotions will be conducted 
at 8:30 p.m. Monday.  Cook was a veteran of World War II. 

Surviving are his widow, the former Della Ignash; a son, Donald Jr. 5; two 
daughters, Bernadette, 3 and Kathleen 2; his father, Roman Cook, Paris 
Township, and two brothers, Roman Jr., Paris Township, and Master Sgt. 
Eugene Cook, Wichita Falls. Tex.   Published Times Herald (Port Huron, 
Michigan) Sunday June 21, 1953

Note:  Mother: Clara Trepkowski.  Married Delphine Ignash on May 17, 1947 in 
St. Mary Catholic Church in Parisville.
