June 20 - Funeral services for Donald Stephen Cook, 29. Bad Axe, also known as Kucharczyk, who was killed Friday night in an automobile accident near Port Austin, will be conducted at 9 a.m. Tuesday in St. Edward's Catholic church at Kinde. Rev Frederick J. Maynard will officiate and burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery at Parisville. The body is at the Paul A Hunter funeral home at Kinde where Rosary devotions will be conducted at 8:30 p.m. Monday. Cook was a veteran of World War II. Surviving are his widow, the former Della Ignash; a son, Donald Jr. 5; two daughters, Bernadette, 3 and Kathleen 2; his father, Roman Cook, Paris Township, and two brothers, Roman Jr., Paris Township, and Master Sgt.
