Clarence Harry Labeski
August 31, 1921 - May 26, 2007
Mr. Clarence H. Labeski, 85, of Ubly passed away Saturday, May 26, 2007 
unexpectedly at his residence.  Clarence was born August 30, 1921 in Ubly, 
to the late Frank and Susan (Gwisdalla) Labeski.  He married Frances M. 
Puvalowski ‘nee Glaza April 13, 2002 at St. Mary Catholic Church in 
Parisville.  She preceded him in death Jan. 1, 2007.  Clarence was a 
graduate of the Sparling Country School.  He served in the U.S. Army during 
World War II.  He farmed, retiring in 1976.  He then worked for the Ubly 
Community School as a custodian and later with a private contractor doing 
home modernization.  He was a parishioner at St. Mary Catholic Church in 
Parisville and was a former Men's Club member.
Clarence is survived by his step-children, Noreen (Dave) Wazny, Clarence 
(Debbie) Puvalowski, Kenneth (Ruth Ann) Puvalowski and all of their 
children.  Clarence was preceded in death by four brothers and seven 
sisters.

Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 30, 2007 at St. Mary's 
Catholic Church in Parisville.  The Rev. Jerzy Dobosz, pastor, will 
officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery with military honors by the 
Thumb Veterans Organizations.  Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday 
at the Zinger-Smigielski Funeral Home in Ubly and from 10 to 11 a.m. 
Wednesday at the church.  There will be a parish vigil service at 7 p.m. 
Tuesday at the funeral home.  The family has requested memorials to the St.
